No dongle needed. With "Smart" in the name the built in Bluetooth replaces the dongle. Then you can program the unit from your phone using the Victron Connect App which you can download from the Apple or Android app stores. You can ever try out the program in demo mode before you buy, as shown in the screenshot below:
