When using the Victron 100/50 MPPT solar charge controller the expected maximum current is 50 amps. That's what the 50 in the 100/50 of the title stands for. Its preferable to fit circuit protection for more than the expected current because otherwise the fuse or breaker would heat up and cause resistance. I suggest somewhere in the 60 -75 amp range. Then of course you have to use wires that can carry that much current. You can look that up at in the Ampacity Tables.
