The Victron Energy Smart MPPT 100/50 solar charge controller has a built in temperature sensor but of course this just measures the temperature of the MPPT and not of the battery. For more sophisticated control you can fit a Bluetooth temperature sensor on the battery and network it to the MPPT with VE Smart Wireless Networking. One inexpensive product that can act as a sensor is the Victron Energy SBS050150200 Long Range Bluetooth Smart Battery Sense. Another way to do it if you already have a Victron SmartShunt or BMV 712 battery monitor is to add the temperature sensor option. This also requires you to set up VE Smart Wireless Networking.
