Answer: The Victron Energy PMP123021102 MultiPlus 12/3000/120-50 120V VE Bus Inverter/Charger works independently of solar. There are no combo units with Built-In solar sold in 120 volt models. You will need a separate charge controller for the solar.
Question: In a marine installation is there a requirement to use a U/L certified Multiplus?
Answer: The Victron Energy PMP123021102 Multi Plus 12/3000/120-50 120V VE Bus Inverter/Charger does not require UL Certification as per ABYC or USCG standards for recreational vessels. This is not a mandatory requirement.
