I am wanting to use the Victron smart mppt for my solar on my trailer and also want to charge from my tow vehicle. Am I able to charge from both at the same time? Will they "talk to each other? The two units won't talk to each other or coordinate their charge but they will both charge the same battery. What happens in the end is described in my article What happens when I have multiple charge sources charging a single battery bank
