Yes the Victron BMV 712 works with Lithium batteries. You have to tweak the settings a bit as described in my article Using Victron Energy equipment with other brands of Lithium Ion batteries
The included 500 amp shunt works good for the MultiPlus 12/3000 which gets a recommended fuse of 400 amps.
