In theory they can but in practice it is hard to pull it off because you have to try and get them to work in sync with each other. It requires the wire size and length to be identical for each one so they get exactly the same voltage and same load. These are analogue devices and so the voltage settings can be different between them making it really difficult for them to work in unison.
