The Centaur charger is "old school" but works great for conventional wet cell, AGM or gel batteries. These are three stage chargers that are adjustable to a few preset charge profiles. There is no remote control option and no temperature sensors.
The Phoenix IP43 chargers are top of the line models with Bluetooth so you can look at them and program them from your phone. They are fully programmable for all battery types including lithium, they have the ability to connect to a Cerbo GX for remote access, they have the ability to use VE Smart Wireless Networking to get battery temp sensor from a compatible sender. They can be networked to each other to act in unison. Of course for all these bells and whistles you end up paying a bit more.
