There are a number of problems to be overcome with this plan. The 7650 Add-A-Battery System comprises two parts, the 7610 ACR and the 5511e Battery Switch. The switch turns on and off both batteries, Im not sure how you are going to be able to wire it to turn on and off the original start battery. The rating of the ACR is 120 amps so if you are planning on upgrading the alternator to 165 amps it will be out of range and you won't be able to use it
