The Cyrix-Li-ct 12/24V-120A intelligent Li-ion battery combiner will almost certainly not be successful in this application. The combiner patches the alternator through directly to the lithium battery. The battery will be a huge load on the alternator and will cause it to overheat. You can only use this combiner if you have an externally regulated alternator that you can control to prevent overheating. In addition this Cyrix is only for Victron Smart Lithium Batteries. You would be better off looking at a DC DC Charger for this application.
