My Color Control GX shows AC power coming in but it doesn't differentiate between shore and generator. What do I have to do for it to tell me the full picture? Victron Energy BPP010300100 Color Control GX

The Victron Color Control GX, and its newer versions Cerbo GX and Ekrano GX, use the MultiPlus or Quattro inverter charger as the AC sensor. Since the MultiPlus only has a single input it has no way of knowing what the source of that input is. Only if you get the Quattro, which has two inputs, will it be able to differentiate between shore and generator.
