Can I use this SolidSwitch relay for my anchor light?
Victron Energy BMS800200104 SolidSwitch 104
Battery Protects
Reason for changing from just a single switch to a switch with a relay is that we are moving the switch to a much better location, but it will near double the length of the wires and so to reduce the voltage drop, I want a relay close to the 12VDc source. There are lots of automotive/marine relays available, but maybe this solid state relay is more reliable.

You can use the
Victron Energy BMS800200104 SolidSwitch 104 for this provided you don't exceed the maximum current rating of 4 amps. It should be more reliable than a mechanical relay and use less power.
