I'm installing a Balmar second alternator and it may be several weeks before my battery bank shows up! Will this protect the alternator until I hard wire the batteries into my sprinter battery bank?? THX

No the APM-12 Alternator Protection Module is not intended to be sacrificed like that. If your alternator is externally regulated and the regulator is disconnected then you can leave it spinning without any harm coming to it.
