This Blue Sea 1839 M2 Digital Tank Monitor can use either resistive tank senders, or the Blue Sea ultrasonic ones. Resistive tank senders are used on boats all the time, there are two scales, the European scale between10 and 180 ohms. (With 10 ohms indicating empty) and the US scale between 240 and 33 ohms. (With 240 ohms indicating empty). The meter can accommodate either. You can also use the Blue Sea ultrasonic senders, 1810 is for diesel, water and waste, and 1811 is for gasoline.
