I believe the Yanmar 4JH57 is one of the Common Rail engines. Balmar make a special version of this alternator for the Common Rail engines. It has a modified output terminal because otherwise the output terminal hits against the engine block. The special model is Balmar XT-CR-170-K6 Alternator for Yanmar Common Rail
