SG235 "includes Bluetooth gateway" but also says "requires ... Gateway PN SG2-0300" & "Gateway not yet available"
Balmar SG235 Battery Monitor with Bluetooth Gateway and NMEA 2000 (NO DISPLAY)
Very confused whether Gateway is included in SG235 or not, and whether it is available. I assume Gateway is the hardware device that enables Balmar battery monitor data derived from shunt to be displayed on my phne/laptop. I understand that SG235 does not include a separate display. In deciding whether this product is right for me, what parts will I need to read the battery monitor info on my iphone / laptop?
Please comment pros/cons of Balmar SG235 (without display) versus Victron Energy SmartShunt IP65. I have no VE devices onboard at this time.

The Balmar SG 235 Includes NMEA 2000 SmartShunt, NMEA 2000 M12 (DeviceNet) Adapter Cable and Bluetooth Gateway (No Color Display). To connect it to your MC-618-H regulator you will need an additional Com cable. Look at our SG200 product page for questions and answers relating to a comparison between the Balmar and Victron offering.
