The output curve of the Balmar 98-24-220-IG-BL Alternator, a 220 amp alternator, is represented by two lines. The blue line illustrates the performance of the alternator when it's cold, while the red line indicates the performance when it's hot. Note we are referring to alternator RPM not engine RPM
