Question: Is the Victron Energy ori122420020 suitable to power a 24V bow thruster?
Answer: Bow thrusters use a lot of power. 400 amps would not be unusual. This DC DC Converter only puts out 20 amps and so would be way too small for any bow thruster.
Question: Can this ORI122420020 converter be used in parallel?
Answer: No, we do not recommend running these units in parallel. We do have a Victron Energy Orion IP67 DC-DC Converter 12/24-50 available.
