Victron use a couple of different temperature sensors. This one, the Victron Energy ASS000100000 Temperature Sensor for BMV 702/712 and Smart Shunt, is distinguished by the fact that it has an in line fuse. This sensor also acts as the power supply for the device it is connecting to. This is used in the BMV 702 and 712 battery monitors as well as the SmartShunt. It can also be used with the VE Bus Smart Dongle.
The other temperature sensor you will often find used with various Victron equipment is the Victron Energy ASS000001000 temp sensor for Quattro, MultiPlus and Cerbo GX It is supplied with the MultiPlus and Quattro inverter chargers, it can be used with the Cerbo GX, it is also used with the older Phoenix chargers but not with the newer IP43 chargers which get their temp sensing via Bluetooth.
