I have a universal M25 engine. I want to fit a Balmar series 6 100 Amp alternator. My current V-belt is 3/8 wide. I want a pulley conversion kit for a single V-belt I presume it is 1/2 inch wide.... unless there is a good reason not to. Does Balmar make a kit like that? You really can't upgrade your alternator and keep the 3/8" belt. The only belt conversion kit we can offer is this one, the Balmar 48-USP-M25 Pulley Kit for Universal M25 This kit upgrades the pulleys to J10 allowing you maximum flexibility to choose a 100 or 120 amp 6 series alternator, or one of the larger XT series.
