The converter uses push on connectors and they do not support 40 amps so they doubled them up.
I am considering purchasing one, but I have one question. Why are there two positive wires for both 24v and 12v? Victron Energy Orion 24/12-40 DC-DC Converter with 40 Amp Output p/n ORI241240021 24 volt input Step Down DC DC Converters
