You need to check the output of the alternator in your outboard. This product is suitable for alternators up to 65 amps. Im pretty sure your 90 HP outboard does not have an alternator bigger than 65 amps.
Will this work with my 2010 merc 4 stroke 90 HP, is it compatible? Blue Sea 7649 Mini Add-A-Battery System
