Yes it can be extended although ideally your MultiPlus or Quattro would be close enough to the battery for it to reach.
Can the t-sense sensor be spliced if it is not long enough to get to the battery Victron Energy ASS000001000 temp sensor for Quattro, MultiPlus and Cerbo GX
