You would be better off to disconnect the MPPT Control and instead connect the MPPT direct to the Cerbo GX. You will be able to interact with the MPPT more easily, on a color display and with the possibility of remote access.
You can program the MultiPlus to give priority to solar charging. This is a new feature just added, so you will have to update the Firmware of the MultiPlus first, and then program the priority feature. Updating the firmware is covered in my Blog post and video.
