The Victron Smart Battery Sense is for measuring batteries not alternators. Our Victron Lithium Batteries can operate up to 50 Deg C so that is the maximum design temperature. Alternators get way hotter than that. All the alternator regulators we sell have alternator temp sensors.
- The Balmar regulators use the MC-TS-A as their alternator sensor.
- The Wakespeed regulators use the Wakespeed WS.3THERM temperature sensor
- The Arco Zeus regulators have a temp sensor built into the included wiring harness.
