The standard MC-TS-A alternator temperature sensor wire is 54" long. The longer version is the MC-TS-A80 which is 80" long. In addition you can extend the wire yourself, there wont be any issues extending it to 20 feet or so. The battery temperature sensor MC-TS-B has a 20 ft long wire and used the same microchip
