Question: Does the balmar ars-5 come with a long wiring harness?
Answer: The wiring harness that comes with the ARS-5-H measures 54 inches in length. If you want a longer harness one is available and sold separately, if you plan to do that you should just order the ARS-5 without harness.
Question: Does the Balmar regulator include alternator and battery temperature sensors?
Answer: No, the alternator and battery temperature sensors are not included with the Balmar ARS-5-H Regulator. These sensors are sold separately.
Question: Does the Balmar ARS-5 regulator work with XT series alternators?
Answer: No, the Balmar ARS-5 is only for smaller alternators because its field current is not sufficient for the larger ones. For the XT series you need to use the MC-618-H regulator.
