Programming is pretty easy once you have installed the Victron Connect app and figured out how to connect your phone. You can download the app from the Apple or Android app store before you buy and try it out in demo mode. There are two parts to the programming, one is selecting the battery type of the battery you are charging. This is totally intuitive and there isnt anything to it. If your batteries have special requirements you can go in and tweak the preset parameters by going to expert mode. The other part of programming is for the source battery and determines when the unit turns on. I suggest you start with the default settings and only make tweaks if necessary.
