The Victron Energy BMV 712 uses an RJ12 cable to join the shunt to the display. The included cable is 10 meters long. You have the option to purchase shorter cables separately. These cables are available in various lengths such as 0.3m, 0.9m, 1.8m, 3m, and 5m. Here is the link.
