The Victron Energy BMV-712 Smart Battery Monitor, comprises a shunt, a display, a 10 metre cable to connect the two, and a pair of positive voltage sense wires to connect to the battery positives. It also includes a printed copy of the instruction manual. The manual is also available online. You will need to supply a heavy duty cable to connect the shunt to the battery negative, this should be as big a cable as the biggest cable in your system.
