Yes the 60-YP-MC-100-SV Alternator and regulator kit would work well on a Yanmar 3GM30F. No pulley upgrade required, you will have to update the output wires because they will be carrying more current. Also this is an isolated ground alternator so it will require a dedicated negative output wire, something the original didnt have.
