That sounds like a recipe for disaster. If the input is positive then so is the output and there is no connection on the switch for a negative.
I have 9001e do I hook all the red lines to input 1 & 2 and black ground to output? Blue Sea 9001e Battery Selector Switch 1-2-BOTH-OFF
