No you can not do that. You need a double pole main breaker with reverse polarity light to establish that the supply you have plugged in to has correct polarity before you go any further. The 8058 panel only has single pole breakers. In the event that your supply has reverse polarity these single pole breakers would end up on the neutral side of the circuit and devices that connect to them and were turned off would still be live. That's why the main breaker is so important and cannot be omitted. I can suggest the Blue Sea 8077 AC Panel Main 120VAC 30A as a main breaker.
