Can the Victron 100 amp diode isolate and charge my series-wired 12v batteries without having to break the series connection?

If you are trying to charge three 12 volt batteries that are in series and only have a 12 volt charge source you will have to break the series connection. Think about it, the negative of battery 1 is at 0 volts, the negative of battery 2 is at +12 volts, and the negative of battery 3 is at +24 volts. There will be sparks flying if you try to connect your 12 volt alternator to these individually
