The Blue Sea 9019 AC Selector Switch, 240V 63A OFF +2, can be installed in panels with a maximum thickness of 0.16" (4.00mm). That is not very thick and the only way to achieve that is by mounting in a metal plate. You wont be able to mount it in a piece of wood because the panel will be too thick. We do sell the same switch mounted in an aluminum panel and sold as the Blue Sea 8363 AC Rotary Panel 240VAC/63A OFF + 2
