Can the ITR040362041 take power from a 230V generator and deliver it to a 120 volt Multiplus?

The goal is to use the american multiplus to charge the battery bank from the european generator. The hertz shouldn't be a problem.

Yes you can use it like that. You just need to make sure you don't overload it. The limit is 16 amps @ 230 volts and so you should protect the input side with a 16 amp circuit breaker, then on the MultiPlus set the incoming current limit to 30 Amps
