Note that this kit is for a 3HM35-F which is the freshwater cooled version of the engine. This kit will not work with the 3HM35. The pulleys are capable of driving a 250 amp alternator so in theory you could use the Balmar XT-DF-250-J10. That's a big alternator for a fairly small engine and it makes for a more challenging installation. You need to make sure that you have room around the engine, then it would require a longer adjustment arm and longer belts than come in the kit.
