We use the formula Watts = Volts x Amps to work this out. Assuming the output voltage is 14.4 volts and the output current is 100 amps that gives us an answer of 14.4 x 100 = 1440 Watts. The actual AC Power consumption will be a bit more because there is some loss due to inefficiency. They don't quote a figure but assume it will be at least 5% loss due to inefficiency, Nothing is 100% efficient. That means to output 1440 Watts the input will be somewhere in the region of 1520 Watts or maybe a bit more,
