The Balmar MC-618 does come equipped with an external voltage sense terminal. You have to supply the actual wire yourself. This feature allows the Balmar MC-618 to sense downstream of a battery isolator, effectively measuring the delivered voltage. This is especially useful in compensating for any potential voltage drop that may occur in the cable running from the alternator to the battery.
