Yes you can connect to either port of the SmartShunt as long as it is NOT the NMEA 2000 version. In the NMEA version one port is reserved for NMEA 2000 only so there will be only one port available for anything else.
Can I connect the MC-618 regulator to either of the SmartShunt or the SG200 plugs? Balmar SG2-0403 communication cable for SG200 metering system 5 meter
The SmartShunt is closer and has an open plug, would have to pull cable through more bulkheads to get to SG200. SG200 seems to do network discovery of connected devices. Will it follow the daisy chain to the MC-618?
