Yes, the Blue Sea Mini Add A Battery mini will work with all but the largest outboards. It is listed as being for outboards with alternators up to 65 Amps which will cover the vast majority of outboards. There may be a few of the largest outboards with alternators bigger than 65 amps in which case you should move up to the big brother Blue Sea 7650 Add-A-Battery System with ACR and Battery Switch
