Question: What's the intermittent rating of the Blue Sea Add a Battery Mini?
Answer: The blue sea add a battery system has an intermittent rating of 115 Amps that lasts for 5 minutes.
Question: Is the 7649 switch a 2 pole switch, meaning that it is either on or off, or do you have to turn it to a third position to combine both batteries.
Answer: Its a two pole switch. When on it connects battery 1 to load 1 and battery 2 to load 2. The combine position is intended for emergencies only, in normal use you just turn it to ON or OFF.
Question: Will this work with my 2010 merc 4 stroke 90 HP, is it compatible?
Answer: You need to check the output of the alternator in your outboard. This product is suitable for alternators up to 65 amps. Im pretty sure your 90 HP outboard does not have an alternator bigger than 65 amps.
