Im not aware of anybody having done this. These are marine alternators where there are usually only about 4 or 5 mounting configurations, but for motor vehicles there are many more mounting configurations so its unlikely that this is going to fit. The one you are looking at has a single foot mount and its designed to pivot on that mount. Motor vehicles usually have alternators with fixed mounts and use an external belt tensioning device.
