Answer: Yes, the Blue Sea 7650 can be used in emergency vehicles. However it is only rated for 120 amps and many emergency vehicles will have alternators bigger that that.
Question: Should the light be green all the time or should it not light up sometimes ?
Answer: The green light means the 7610 ACR is in combined mode. This will happen any time one or other battery is at 13 volts or above. You can read more about this lights in the instruction manual.
