When only 120 volt shore power is available this MultiPlus will pass the power through on Leg 1 and invert to provide power to Leg 2. The output of the Victron MultiPlus-II 2x120 will be two legs of 120 volts in phase with each other so there will be no 240 volts. This allows for continued use of the 120 volt RV's electrical systems. However 240 volt devices will not be able to work in this mode.
