A 60 amp Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) charge controller can handle up to 60 amps of current. The maximum wattage it can handle depends on the system voltage; for example in a 12 volt system this MPPT is recommended for up to 860 Watts, in a 24 volt system up to 1720 Watts , and in a 48 volt system up to 3440 Watts
