The input voltage lock-out shuts down the device if the input voltage drops below the set value. This protects the source battery from being depleted. The default lockout value is 13.5 volts meaning the Orion will only work if the source battery is receiving charge from somerhere. If the source battery drops below the set value the Orion will stop. The values for this and the restart voltage are all totally programmable.
