The Balmar XT-DF-170-DV alternator has a dual foot mount where the two feet are 3.15" apart. This works for most Yanmar engines, you can check what you have to be sure. The XT-DF-170-DV has a Dual V pulley and this is unlikely to work for your engine. I can't tell you any more without knowing the engine model.
