The Victron Energy 12/5000 inverter charger has two AC outputs. By default one output is available at all times, and the other output is available only when external power ( from shore or generator) is available. The secondary output is programmable so it is possible to modify the standard settings and make it turn on and off based on inputs, for example based on temperature or on battery state of charge.
