The Victron Quattro 24/8000 has two AC inputs and two AC Outputs. Typically the inputs would be shore and generator. It only uses one of the AC inputs at a time and the transfer switch will automatically select the active source. There are also two outputs, one is available all the time, either from shore, generator or inverter power. The other output is only available when an extermal power source is available, and will not work on inverter power. This can be used for larger loads that you dont want to run from the batteries. It gets the name Quattro because of the four connections.
