Mega fuses and ANL fuses are both types of high-current fuses used in automotive and marine applications, but they differ in design and application. ANL fuses have a wider range of amperage, are normally ignition protected, (except the larger sizes) and have a blade-type design with a clear cover for easy inspection. They also typically have a higher AIC interrupt rating. Mega fuses are the economy version, not ignition protected, no visible window, and a lower AIC rating. The standard versions of each are only for use up to 32 volts DC but you will find a few specialty ones of each type rated for higher voltages.
